Moonshine (2024) director Linden Skalak, cinematographer Mia Tsuchida

A teenage boy struggles with the morality of selling his homemade moonshine after he and his distilling partner accidentally blind a man they sell to.

Shot on my family’s sheep farm in central Virginia, this film is a personal exploration of Appalachian culture, and the difficult journey of learning to love rural life growing up.

Currently in post-production.
